How exciting! Can’t wait to see it first hand.
I fly in on February 10th, and can’t wait to see the new addition to the Liberia airport! I am sure I will gaze in wonder too, as I see this milestone as the reality that it now is.
The new airport is AWESOME. My husband and I have flown into Liberia numerous times over the past 7-8 years and were amazed to be greeted by aconditionado and a enclosed ramp to the terminal rather than being deposited directly onto the concrete runway and making our way to the open air terminal. We love the modernization but will miss the old open air terminal just like we affectionately recall the humble origins of Marie’s restaurant in Flamingo and the Happy Snapper (before it was bulldozed one day) in Brasilito…
